Intended contribution proposes an energy-based approach to the assessment of capability semirigid multi-storey steel structures dissipate seismically induced energy via semirigidly connecting zones structure. The state structure is defined in terms balance equation. Total amount divided into its classic components: kinetic energy, strain and dissipated energy. Dissipated - turn split by itself (Eds) connected (Edc). last computed as equivalent work performed bending moments associated connections through relative rotations connections. Proposed procedure further illustrated several dynamic / seismical analyses one subjected two reference earthquakes. Beam column top seat angle with double web-angles (TSDW) make up degrees initial stiffness. moment rotation are governed Kishi Chen relation.
